We also reported Thursday afternoon that Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico's condition is improving at the expected rate, and if this continues, the Medical Council will decide the next steps. At that time, the situation was still such that he would definitely not be transferred to another medical institution from the F.D. Roosevelt University Hospital in Peztersipanye, where he had been treated since the assassination.
Compared to this, for some reason, a different decision was made, as Slovak public media (RTVS) reported that
Robert Fico was transported to Bratislava by rescue helicopter around 6:00 p.m.
This information was later confirmed by the director of Peztercebania Hospital, Miriam Labonnikova. So it is certain that Vico is no longer in Pisztrespania, but where he was taken is questionable.
According to RTVS, the Prime Minister landed at Milan's Rastislav Stefanik Airport in Bratislava shortly before 7:00 p.m. The Government Office of the Slovak Republic announced earlier that the Prime Minister would be transferred to St. Michael's Hospital in Bratislava. On the other hand, several Slovak press sources later reported that Fico was not actually taken to the hospital, but rather to his home.
Among other things, this has been previously announced TV Oh Which also included photos and a video about it. According to the channel, nearby residents saw police and security guards around Fico's house.
Either way, the possibility of a transfer to Bratislava can be seen as a positive sign for Robert Fico's health. From this it can be concluded that the Prime Minister's condition has improved.
