The DKKA U21 team recently finished their home matches against Tököl in the House of Representatives for the NB II Senior Championship in the EF Group. The team of Gábor Szubaj and Szabolcs Toru entered the match against the visitors, seventh in the standings, as opponents, and the first half was balanced and led to a great fight. Although our Academicians took the lead several times, their opponents did not want to break away and managed to equalize on several occasions. Until the start of the first half, when DKKA once again “got ahead” by two goals, and could have ended the break with a 14-12 lead.
After the end of the first half, our guys were able to double the score very quickly, after seven minutes, and in the 43rd minute they already scored six shots, bringing the score to 21-15. Tokol's team tried, but in vain, to take a 22-20 lead in the 50th minute, and Shabab Kuhash had the answer to that as well, while Tokol finished the 2023/2024 edition of the tournament in sixth place and seventh place.
