After the winter flood, the Danube threatens with another flood wave, for which Viktor Varga, who lives on the flood plain, must also prepare – now for the second time, because the waters already washed away his house and tents at the end of December.
“Okay, guys. The situation is as follows… I have exactly one day left to pack my house upstairs again. Because now, a few months after the big winter flood, another flood is coming, and obviously that's not the problem, since I live Out there in the flood plain, but it came unexpectedly again, because now I could have waited a year to actually finish the house
You can now expect at least one and a half to two meters of water in my entire house.
Good software, so I have this game on repeat. Thank you, Donna!” Victor Varga said on Instagram in a video available for a limited time.
He requested a loan worth millions of forints
At the end of December, Viktor Varga's house in Budakalach was submerged by flash floods, and the tent, yard and garden there were completely washed away by the waters of the Danube. According to the singer's own admission, he only has himself to blame, because he knew very well what works still needed to be done to make his home safe, but he postponed them.
“Now my house is a tent on the Danube again,” he wrote on his social media page at the time. “You are renting everything, even your body.” “Today's human being is multidimensional, and it is clear that I am also suffering a lot somewhere because I lost my home. But what can I do? I enjoy the situation I am in. Because I cannot change it at the moment, or I can, because every day from eight in the morning Until four in the morning, I work, but it will be over in one day,” he later said of the renovation.
He actually managed to completely restore the yurt, but he borrowed several million forints from a friend to repair the house – but according to him, he has not yet reached the end of the work, and now he has to fight the flood again.
