Wizz Air will launch its flights to India in the first half of next year

According to Varadi, average one-way ticket prices for Wizz will be around €200 for flights between India and Europe, but the cheapest tickets will be available for less than €100.

Wizz Air is also negotiating the launch of flights between Abu Dhabi and India, for which it has also received a designation from Emirates, for which it is also awaiting approval from the Indian side (in this regard, the range of existing A321neos is also sufficient – Ed.).

As we wrote previously, similar to Wizz Air, Indian low-cost carrier Indi Go will begin putting A321XLR aircraft into service next year and plans to launch direct flights to Europe.

At the summit between EU and Indian leaders in April 2023, Wizz Air called for the creation of harmonized regulations to liberalize aviation rights and the conclusion of agreements on open skies.
