MVM Szeged VE rowers competed in picturesque Bled, winning a gold medal – Szeged News

The MVM Szeged VE rowers completed a very informative and successful competition. Young people took part in one of the most traditional international regattas, in picturesque Bled, and the events were conveyed by Szeged Water Sports Association.

In the event, the Szeged competitors performed admirably, with Nóra Kéri and Kira Csókás winning gold medals in the youth doubles, Lilla Mácsai and Napsugár Szabó winning silver medals in the women's youth doubles, while Regő Rácz finished third in the youth singles. The Federation emphasized that for the MVM Szeged rowers this competition was a great opportunity to gain international experience and also helped them prepare for the Hungarian Championships.

The exact results were as follows:

  • Lila Maksai, Nabsugar Szabo – NI2- 2nd place
  • Regő Rácz – FI1 – 3rd place
  • Lila Maksai, Szabo Napsugar – NI2 – 4th place
  • Dorka Somogyi – NI1x – 5th place
  • Nora Kerry – NS1x – 5th place
  • Adam Moore, Dabob Benjamin – FS2x – 5th place
  • Dorka Somogyi – NI1x – 7th place
  • Adam Moore, Dabob Benjamin – FS2x – 7th place
  • Csókás Kira – NS1x – 8th place
  • Victoria Kovacs – NS1x – 9th place
  • Viktoria Kovacs – NS1x – 12th place
  • Regő Rácz – FI1x – 15th place
