It has been a secret for some time that the Nubia Red Magic 9S Pro will be unveiled on July 3rd. However, it has not yet been possible to hear what improvements and developments the new model brings compared to the previous Red Magic 9 Pro. Now the brand itself has given an answer to this burning question: inside the gamer's mobile there will be a modified Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with an increased clock rate.
The Nubia Red Magic 9S Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in which the Cortex-X4 core runs at a frequency of 3.4 GHz instead of 3.3. This may not seem like a big change at first, but it's also worth noting that the GPU will be set at a 10 percent higher clock rate, i.e. at 1 GHz. By the way, in addition to the chip with a modified clock, there may still be a lot of surprises in the manufacturer's packaging. The device also recently appeared in synthetic testing app Geekbench's database to show what kind of computing power it's capable of.
The gaming-ready smartphone and its hardware scored 2,319 points in single-core and 7,215 points in multi-core tests, which means it lives up to the hype. In addition to the aforementioned high-speed chipset, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage have been added, which is not at all surprising, since the operational memory and internal storage of previous models were also based on these standards.
The official statement of the Red Magic brand stated that artificial intelligence plays a major role in the software of the new device. In fact, we're not surprised by this either, as AI is one of the hottest trends in the world of technology right now, if not the hottest. As for the design, the Red Magic 9S Pro probably won't differ much from its predecessor, that is, you can expect a flat frame, a flat screen without a hole for the camera, and a camera system that fits into the back panel without sticking out.
