The digital development of a country is clearly shown by the extent to which AI is used among companies. In 2023, an average of 8% of companies in EU member states used an AI-based technology, and in our country this figure is not even half of the EU average.

Barely 4% of local companies planned to introduce AI-based technology, which is also below the EU average, according to the Central Statistical Office. In the EU, only Bulgaria and Romania are behind us.

In 2023, one-fifth of companies using AI used a suitable software robot to automate business processes and support decision-making. Among the AI-based technologies, text mining, image recognition, and image processing ranked second and third from the imaginative platform in terms of popularity. Technologies that enable the physical movement of machines, e.g. Self-driving robots and self-driving vehicles are operated by nearly a tenth of the companies that use artificial intelligence.
