Sega continues the Crazy Taxi series, and this time the popular car game is given a modern look. Some frames of it have already been published.

This year marks 25 years since the release of Sega Crazy Taxi. The show, which was originally intended for arcade games, quickly gained such a large fan base that after its debut in 1999, a console version came in 2000, and since then the series has seen a fair number of episodes. Its most recent title, Crazy Taxi Tycoon, was released in 2017, and since then it's become rare to hear that Sega is planning some sort of sequel.

the Eurogamer Now he writes that in a new interview with the developers, you can not only hear about the return of the game, but also flash some frames from it. According to the plans, fans will have to deal with an open-world game – that is, you can go anywhere with the characters – which will be developed using the Unreal Engine. The Japanese company has high expectations for the new part, which will also have a multiplayer mode. It is the latter that is currently being tested.

Yellow cabs will once again be available on the West Coast of the United States.

By Sega's own admission, it wanted to build a strong brand out of Crazy Taxi like it did out of Sonic.
