Index – Abroad – László Toroczkai also establishes a new party family in the European Parliament, and the Radicals rally

“Today in Brussels, in the European Parliament, together with our allies, we are forming a new European party family,” László Toroczkai, the leader of the Mi Hazanek Mozgalom party, announced on his social media page on Wednesday. After Viktor Orbán also founded a new party family, which has already become a faction they have managed to form.

According to MTI, Laszlo Toroczkai said in his letter posted on the X website:

Today, we are doing something that even the Hungarian party, which is said to be radical nationalist, has not succeeded in doing. In Brussels, in the European Parliament, we will work with our allies to form the new European party family, the new faction in the European Parliament.

He announced that the foundations of the new European Union were laid in Budapest last year, and then confirmed by the Sofia Declaration. The party leader added in his message: “We do not want to negotiate with the enemies of Europe, we do not want to reconcile with them, but we want to defeat them.”

The Alternative for Germany party announced on Wednesday that it had found enough partners to form its own faction in the European Parliament. The parliamentary faction currently consists of 28 representatives from nine EU member states. In the AfD's neighboring faction

• Recovery from France,
• Konfederacja of Poland,
• Renaissance from Bulgaria,
• I'm having a Fiesta from Spain,
• Party for Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) of the Czech Republic,
• From the Republic of Slovakia
• The People's and Justice Union from Lithuania will participate.

The AfD proposes calling this faction the Europe of Sovereign States.
