On one of the hottest weekends in July, the regional tournament was held in Vad Dombori, which qualifies individuals for the national championship – and the Vieques residents were represented here.
The Békési Kayak-Canoe Club arrived at the venue with 40 people, where kayakers and canoeists competed individually and in several boats in three distances – 500, 1000 and 2000 metres – in the sweltering heat. After the competition, the team will continue preparing for the most important competition of the year, the national championship, at the training camp in Orfű, the club informed our editors.
