There are no obstacles for the Sonderwunsch team at Porsche’s Special Order department. They have already produced a 911 in tribute to a legendary race car, recalled the first 911 Turbo and named it after a loyal customer, and now they have designed another beautiful limited-edition sports car in Zuffenhausen. Quarenta is based on the history of the Spanish and Portuguese Porsche importer, which became a subsidiary in 1984. They have drawn inspiration from Iberian culture and traditions, as well as from stories dating back to the 1980s, the period of their founding.
They started working on the limited series car even before the model update premiered, so the 911 Quaranta is actually based on the GTS hybrid. The 3.6-litre six-cylinder boxer engine and the hybrid system produce 541 hp and 610 Nm of torque. The rear-wheel drive sports car accelerates to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and has a top speed of 312 km/h.

Oak wood is a recurring motif, and this motif is also present on the hand-painted badge attached to the bonnet grilles. A small Cuarenta Edition logo on the central roof pillar indicates the special model, and the windows are framed in silver. In the deep green, the glossy black sticker on the rear wheel arch that protects against stone cracks, a reference to the 1980s models, almost disappears.

The door panels and upper part of the dashboard feature hand-stitched cross-stitching, and the welcome lights below the doors echo the oak woodwork seen on the key and on the rear of the car.
