The 35 affected countries are Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, North Macedonia, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Netherlands, Croatia, Ireland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Monaco, Great Britain, Germany, Norway, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Vatican.
Since 2022, visa-free travel is valid for citizens of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland. Entry and exit without a visa is valid at all road and railway border crossings. The maximum period of stay in Belarus without a visa is 30 days.
Those who enter the territory of Belarus under the visa-free regime can continue their journey to third countries, except for the Russian Federation, also at airport border crossings.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, people can travel to Belarus with an ID card from Azerbaijan, Albania, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, the United Arab Emirates, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Nicaragua, Russia, Armenia, citizens of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela.
The Border Guard Service announced on July 15 that since the beginning of 2024, more than 116,000 foreign citizens living in EU member states have traveled to Belarus under visa-free travel. Most of them are from Lithuania, Latvia and Poland.
