The Social Network – Jesse Eisenberg, who was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg for The Social Network, is filming the third installment of Szemfényvesztók, about con artists, in Budapest. In connection with this, he also visited the Figaro magic shop in Buda – where, according to the employees, he was acting completely straight and was ready to take a picture with them. Look at him!

“Although the magic tricks in the Eye-Losers films are stunts performed by movie gimmicks or stunts, Jesse Eisenberg, perhaps influenced by the films and his own persona as a magician, was seriously interested in magic. He was looking for a specific trick, a deck of flat cards, but he didn't get stuck in one branch of magic.” – Tell Magic shop owner Istvan Szabo to Bors.
Surprisingly for the owner, the American actor also asked about the 55-year-old's magic shop, how he was able to operate legally in the Eastern Bloc at the time, and that he was very open anyway, curious about many other magic tricks.
“My colleague Vince showed him a lot of tricks. He was interested in the little magic Where’s the Red? but he also bought a mental trick. In fact, he really wanted to learn how to color the cards, which can also be seen in the movie, but he didn’t do it there, so he got a quick ten minutes of it. Who knows, maybe he will use the knowledge he gained with us not only in real life, but also in the movie!” added István Szabo.
Isla Fisher is no longer in the picture.
Isla Fisher also plays Szemfényvesztók 3., and is therefore also in Hungary – but she is nowhere near as pictured as Jesse Eisenberg, as even the Hungarian Parliament thought she was in Prague.
In an Instagram story, the actress previously posted a photo of the Parliament building taken from the Buda side — but she referred to Prague as the location. Check out her post too!
