The Polgars recently traveled to Ireland, and when they have time, they like to explore new places. About their exciting vacations, for example their adventure in Jordan story They told the magazine.
“We also had the experience of sleeping in the desert. I booked a stay in a private bubble tent. We avoided crowded beaches by a long way again this year, we have a lot of them in Florida,” began the businesswoman, who also doesn’t shy away from car trips, sometimes staying where the night falls.
“We don’t like luxury hotels much anymore, we had some unpleasant experiences. If you want to get to know the country, you can only get the experience from the locals. We were a bit scared in Cyprus, we thought we would be kidnapped there. We asked the taxi driver to take us to a place where tourists don’t usually go, and in the end he drove us around the mountainside for more than half an hour.”
Their travel memory is associated with Tibet.
“The local guide advised a local peasant family, who offered us smelly yak cheese. My stomach can’t handle that kind of stuff. At 4,000 meters, we were already breathing with the help of an oxygen cylinder. However, the Sherpa husband told many interesting things about his work. We still talk about this trip to this day,” recalls Tunde Polgar.
