As previously reported by Index, Apple unveiled Apple Intelligence back in June, which will have four main areas of use: the ability to create, edit, and summarize text, the ability to create and edit images and emoji, the ability to interpret text in context, and it can perform system-wide tasks, even those that would require opening a separate app.
For now, development will be available for free on the iPhone 15 Pro in the fall, as well as on all iPads and Macs with M-series chips – but that doesn’t seem to be the case for long.
Mark Gurman Bloomberg Reporter according to Because Apple is currently working on how to turn Apple Intelligence into a subscription service similar to Apple Music, Apple TV+, and iCloud+.
According to Gorman, Apple is unlikely to switch to a subscription model yet, but in the future it may charge up to $20 per month, which is more than 7,000 Hungarian forints at the current exchange rate.
Insiders point out that this wouldn't be a surprising move at all, given that Google is also asking similar amounts for the more professional version of Gemini, as OpenAi is doing for the more advanced version of ChatGPT.
