The Galaxy S Ultra phones carried over the design of the previous Note series, and thus got a somewhat angular design, unlike the basic Galaxy S models. Next year, in the case of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, this may change, and Samsung may switch to a slightly more comfortable rounded shape.
This year, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has already made a big change in terms of design, as unlike its predecessors, it has a completely flat display. However, its corners are still fully angled, which makes it less comfortable to hold. Samsung will try to improve on that with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
We’ve already heard that the next Ultra flagship will come with slightly rounded corners, but now a well-known leakster has shared a pre-rendered image. It’s not an official press image yet, but this is roughly what the phone will look like from the front.
The phone won't be as round as the iPhone or the smaller Galaxy S models, but the ergonomics could still be improved. By the way, the front panel will remain completely flat, and we're not sure yet about the back panel, perhaps it will be slightly curved at the edges for a more comfortable grip.
As usual, the Galaxy S25 phones are expected to be unveiled in January, and this time around there will also be three models, the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. It seems that the devices will remain divided, with the smaller two versions coming with the Exynos 2400 chip, and the Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
