It's been nearly three months since Apple launched the 2024 iPad Pro with the company's latest M4 chip, which hasn't been included in any other Apple product since then; however, that won't be the case for much longer.
According to one of Apple's most reliable insiders, Mark Gurman, the company will introduce Macs with the M4 chip later this year. Just like last year, we'll get three new MacBook Pro configurations this year: we can order the device with the M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips if we need the highest performance, the site writes. 9to5Mac.
The 24-inch iMac will also be updated to the M4, but the look will remain the same, but the Mac mini, on the contrary, will be slightly modified by Apple.
As you know, when switching to the M-series chips, the company updated the design of most of its devices, but the Mac mini remained the same. According to Gurman, this may change this year, as the device may have a smaller and thinner appearance, thanks to the more efficient operation of the internal chip.
Apple will likely unveil the new models after its Apple event in September, October, or November, while the M4 MacBook Airs will be revealed sometime in the first half of next year.
