Troy Baker plays the legendary treasure hunter in the latest Indiana Jones game, which will launch as a PC and Xbox exclusive later this year, and will also be released for PlayStation 5 in spring 2025.
In Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Harrison Ford remained the iconic adventurer, but the voice actor and motion capture role went to Troy Baker, who, in his own words, has been a fan of the series since childhood and considers it great. It was an honor to be able to play the treasure hunter.
Things were made clear in the trailer released alongside Baker’s novel, and puzzles will have to be solved by traveling around the world. The usual jungle, desert, and cave locations look amazing in an FPS setting, and during the introspective exploration, you’ll have to face an abundance of traps and puzzles, and there will also be plenty of enemies underneath. In the midst of the fighting, the trademark weapons will also appear, and the trusty whip and revolver pistol will serve you well, but you’ll also be able to deal with slaps with your bare hands.
As good news for many, we also learned that the game will only be a temporary console exclusive on Xbox Series X/S, with Game Pass access for day one, as the PlayStation 5 version will also launch in spring 2025. Of course, PCs won't be left out of the fun on December 9, in parallel with Xbox players.
