He died at the age of 89. Stephen Batho Jaszay Mari is an award-winning actor. He has appeared in numerous plays, films, television and radio plays, but many remember him best for his distinctive organ. He has dubbed extensively, and was, among other things, the Hungarian voice of the Water Spider.

István Batho was born on July 25, 1935 in Szatmarokorito. He graduated from the Agricultural Academy in 1956. His theatrical career began in Debrecen, then he was a member of the Geza Theatre in Egri Gárdony, the Bekés Mejé Gókai Theatre and the Katona József Theatre in Kecskemét. Since 1965 he has been an actor at the National Theatre, and since 2000 he has appeared in performances at the Hungarian Theatre in Pest. According to his own admission, he has not participated in theatre, radio or dubbing since 2010.
He appeared in films such as The Acsirta, The Stars of Egri, Angi Vera, The Bachelor or Napló for my father and mother. For several years he played in the series Neighbours and Kisváros. He was a famous dubbing actor with his distinctive organ.
Most people know him by his strange voice as the water spider, speaking as Lusti in Hupikék the dwarfs, Bubu in Maci Laci, and the bank manager in Catcatcher, but we can also hear him in many famous cartoons: Kukori and Kotkoda, Körem a sekke!, The Adventures of Messi the Squirrel, Frak and the Cats Rem, Funky Kivancı and The Strange Adventures of Aladar Mezga.

In 1989, he was awarded the Jaszsái Mare Prize, and in 1996, he was awarded the Small Cross of the Order of Merit of the Hungarian Republic. His wife, actress Ildiko Murić, died in 2013. Their son, Jr. István Paříto, also became an actor.
