Special Award and 9th Place | Official Police Website

The Kiss family from Cedres took part in the national finals of the “Közlekedik a család” traffic safety competition which was organized in Baranya over the weekend.

As we wrote earlier, the Kisses team from Tolna County won the June County Competition, so they were able to participate in the national final held a few days ago.

The six-station competition took place in Pécs and Orpheus.

The competition, which was first held 13 years ago, has become more popular, this year 550 families competed in the county semi-finals. The main and most important goal of the game is to develop careful and thoughtful traffic behavior.

Among the 20 finalists, the Kisses Living in Szedres family took a prestigious ninth place. The team's little girl, Vanda Kiss, wowed the judges. The 8-year-old completed the not-so-simple bike course without a single mistake, earning a special award.

This year, the Kovari family from Fier County won the final and a ŠKODA Scala with it.

Other participating families were enriched with fuel vouchers and European aid worth 50,000 Hungarian forints, as well as a long weekend local holiday.

Congratulations to all competitors!
