“Will the Final Fantasy VII remake live up to fans' expectations?”

According to Square Enix, the third part of Final Fantasy VII Remake will not “let down” fans of the original JRPG, although there will be new things to “delight.” According to Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth producer Yoshinori Kitase, they always had the original JRPG in mind.

It may be years before Square Enix releases the third part of Final Fantasy VII Remake, which will be the sequel to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and the final part of this legendary show from Square Enix. The Japanese company's JRPG is taking shape month after month, and it seems that the creators have a very specific idea of what the video game and the story will be. The producer of Final Fantasy VII Remake also thought about this topic.

Yoshinori Kitase gave an interview to Anime News where he talked about Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 and some aspects of the game, such as how it compares to the narrative of 1997's Final Fantasy VII. “What exactly this means is something we hope players will experience soon. We’ve heard a lot of speculation from players saying, ‘Oh, how different is this story from the original?’” It starts.

What will Final Fantasy VII look like and when will it hit stores?

Square Enix's Japanese creative director continues to explain: “And I want to say that I don’t think that’s going to happen. We’ve always kept the original in mind, and I don’t think it’s a story that betrays the fans of the original. At the same time, it’s been 27 years since the original Final Fantasy 7 was released. There are things that we feel we can only do in a remake project now, that can bring new joy and a new kind of satisfaction to players who are playing this game now, 27 years later. That’s exactly what it’s going to be like, and we hope players will experience it soon.” Notes (via Gamesradar).

Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 wants to be “one of the most beloved video games in history.”

A few weeks ago, we reported that Square Enix was setting very high standards for the third installment of Final Fantasy VII Remake, stating that the JRPG would be “one of the most beloved video games in history.” This was confirmed by Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Remake director Naoki Hamaguchi, who also expressed his confidence that the upcoming installment would meet fans’ expectations. For this reason, one of the first promises is to “make the world of Final Fantasy VII even bigger than it is now” and give players more freedom and new mechanics.
