Airstrike warning in several Ukrainian regions due to drone attack
The Russians launched a drone attack overnight, and an air raid alert was issued in several Ukrainian regions. The Kyiv Independent wrote that the drone attack also affected the regions of Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Mykolaiv. There are no reports of damage or casualties so far.
According to the United States, Zelensky's victory strategy could work.
US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield said at a press conference on September 17 that US officials have reviewed President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Victory Plan and believe it is a strategy “that can work.”
Zelensky said on September 16 that his plan for victory in Ukraine was more than 90 percent complete and that he would present the plan to allies next week. Details of the strategy have not been disclosed. Thomas-Greenfield confirmed that the United States is already aware of the plan, adding that the United States hopes to promote Zelensky’s plan to world leaders next week, at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
More than ten thousand people came from Ukraine on Monday.
On Monday, 5,865 people entered Hungary via the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, and 4,733 of those who entered the Romanian-Hungarian border declared that they came from Ukraine, according to the National Police Headquarters' latest data.
Among those accepted, the police issued a temporary residence certificate to 45 people, valid for 30 days. During this period, they must visit the office of the National Directorate General of Migration, which is responsible for their place of residence, in order to obtain the final documents. (ORFK)
