Bratislava Picnic is one of the most popular civic cultural events in Budapest and Áglibótváros, where old acquaintances and friends meet. The event was born in 2009 on the idea of Éva Rédei and Ivan Bacher, owners of Láng Téka, and in a few years it has developed into a special and high-quality event on the Újpest pier. Theater Street was a great success this year as well, with audience favorites taking turns on stage. Visitors can meet the unbeatable duo Krisztián Grecsó and Róbert Hrutka, a mix of the most popular shows in Vígszínház, and music lovers can also choose from classics, through opera to jazz according to their tastes, and the great Rádió Bézs team. It appeared on live radio. Journalist Gyula Balogh in Nepszava signed his book The Magic of Klezmer with Ferenc Javor Vegeja. At the Bratislava walk, Csaba Iglodi, author of the hugely successful Dréher Symphony, was there with his new book, published under the title Promise is a Beautiful Word, and Bori Peterffy with his book Wine. The audience's attention was drawn to the latest news from the Saturday issue of Népszava magazine by Rikkancz, who is very popular among visitors to the Bratislava walk every year.
