October will be a very exciting month in terms of smartphone announcements, as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset will be unveiled, as well as several handsets that will be powered by the high-end platform. One of them will be the OnePlus 13, which is also expected to be presented next month. Recently, a photo appeared in which we can see the smartphone in person.
What makes the image interesting is that it was not posted by a leaker or tech insider, however Li JiPresident of OnePlus China, posted about the phone's display on Weibo. The distinguished Mr. added that the company's next flagship is the second generation, so-called Oriental screen You get a panel based primarily on BOE X2's advanced display technology.
This panel is said to be able to provide better performance than the previous generation, and will also represent progress in terms of color display and power consumption, not to mention touch sensitivity.
Based on previous information, the OnePlus 13 will be equipped with a 6.82-inch screen that will support a refresh rate of 120 or even 144 Hz, and the resolution will be somewhere around 1440p. The phone can be purchased with up to 24GB of operational memory and up to 1TB of internal storage.
Its power supply will be provided by an equally large 6,000 mAh battery, which will support both a 100W cable and 50W fast charging.
On the back of the smartphone, there will be a primary image recording module with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX808 sensor, complemented by optical image stabilization. It is also accompanied by a 50MP LYT-600 ultra-wide-angle module, as well as a third 50MP telephoto camera with a LYT-600 sensor with 3x optical zoom.
The small hole in the display in the image above houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The OnePlus 13 phone is expected to start its career in China with the Android 15 operating system, with the ColorOS 15 interface, but this is just a rumor at the moment.
