Based on the leak of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra case, significant improvements in the ergonomic design are expected.
Samsung has already finalized the specifications and appearance of the Galaxy S25 series in the design phase, and it appears that it has already undergone engineering verification tests. More and more benchmark tests are showing up with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor running on a unique Snapdragon version of the Galaxy platform.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra, S25+ and S25 may already be in the design verification phase, where the manufacturer verifies that the devices meet all requirements when assembled with tools and components used in mass production.
One sign of this is the appearance of the first cases from third-party manufacturers. These cases are usually based on leaked drawings or internal information and a preview of the device's design.
Coming up first is the Galaxy S25 Ultra, whose transparent silicone case now reveals some welcome news about Samsung's 2025 flagship. A leaked case from the Chinese tech blogosphere (Weibo) suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will finally come with rounded corners. .

This change could significantly improve the ergonomics of the S25 Ultra, as users previously complained about the angular corners of previous models, which were uncomfortable to hold. Also, the S Pen slot appears to be located next to the rounded bottom right corner, which could make it easier and faster to pull out the pen to jot down a note or a quick sketch.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 Ultra model in January, which will be equipped with a number of artificial intelligence features thanks to Qualcomm's latest advanced chipset. The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 actually outperforms Apple's A18 Pro chip in terms of performance.
However, the Galaxy S25 series won't bring major design changes, so any small ergonomic improvements could help the larger Ultra model handle it.
