It's been a busy weekend for Dorog wrestlers

Over the weekend, Dorogi AC Wrestling Section athletes competed in several competitions, we show you the results.

U13 Knitting Olympic Games for Students

In September, the country's under-13 wrestlers were able to participate in the Regional Student Olympics in Wrestling across the country, specifically in Cegled, Tatabanya and Saltvadkert. On September 27, in Tatabanya, the student Olympic champions in fourteen weight groups were inaugurated. A total of 183 young athletes lined up in the three arenas of the Emre Volde Sports Hall. After the opening ceremony and the taking of the Student Oath, matches were held in 14 weight groups.

Results: 50 kg Gergő Kátai – 3rd place, 76 kg Dóczi Botond – 3rd place

Women's Olympics under 11, under 13, and under 15 years

Tatabanya hosted this year's U11, U13 and U15 Girls Olympic Championships. The Imre Foldi Sports Hall in Tatabanya was filled with girls wrestling, as the local wrestling department organized a student Olympic tournament for three age groups.

Results: 46kg Chela Lukacs – 3rd place, +66kg Nora Farkas – 4th place.

U23 National Championship

knitted: 63 kg Mark Kotzora – 5th place, 72 kg Christopher Kalani – 2nd place, 72 kg Tas Szabó – 5th place, 77 kg Marcel Katai – 2nd place, 82 kg Antal Vamos – 1st place, 82 kg Turda Kinde – 4th place, 130 kg Daniil Szilagyi – 3rd place, 130 kg Matej Monostori – 3rd place, 130 kg Joseph Katona – 5th place.

In group competition: Budapest Honvéd – 1st place, Dorogi AC – 2nd place, ESMTK – 3rd place.
