Introducing the new ThinkPhone with a waterproof and durable design

The first Motorola ThinkPhone that was announced last year was created specifically for business users, and now its successor, the ThinkPhone 25, has arrived. The new model retains the design language of its predecessor, and is still focused on corporate customers, but the device comes with updated specifications, most notably the Motorola Edge 50. Neo.

The new Motorola product works closely with the manufacturer's Lenovo-branded computers and tablets. This includes automatic syncing, shared keyboard and mouse, centralized notifications, and using your phone's primary camera as a webcam.

The manufacturer promises software support for the device for 5 years, regarding major Android versions, and provides security updates until 2029. Enterprise plus features include malware and phishing detection and enhanced Wi-Fi security.

Motorola didn't put much thought into the color choice: the ThinkPhone 25 is only available in carbon black, with an aramid fiber back, a plastic frame, and a design that meets the requirements for IP68 and MIL-STD-810H ratings.

A 6.36-inch pOLED display with 1220p+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate is placed on the front of the smartphone, and protection against scratches is provided by Gorilla Glass 7i. The screen is covered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, in addition to 8 GB of operational memory and 256 GB of internal storage space.

The back of the ThinkPhone 25 has a 50MP primary sensor with a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor and optical image stabilization. It is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 13MP 3x telephoto module.

The hardware components are powered by a 4310 mAh battery, which supports a 68W cable and a 15W inductive power supply. The Motorola ThinkPhone starts at €25,499 – about HUF 198,000 – and will be available from November.
