Many Galaxy devices have been completely destroyed by one of Samsung's updates – PCW

Based on user feedback, three older mobile phones were affected.

While the general purpose of updates is to improve hardware, improve performance, and patch security vulnerabilities, installing them can sometimes have quite the opposite effect. In the case of Windows updates, for example, unexpected issues regularly occur — after installing the latest version, many users found their devices stuck in a constant startup loop — but sometimes similar issues occur on the mobile front as well.

This time, owners of three older Samsung Galaxy devices were affected, who found that after installing the update, their phones became unusable.

More and more in recent days User report This has been revealed, so most Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 devices are likely to be affected. Some users have also encountered similar errors in the case of the Galaxy M51, so it might be worth being careful with this mobile phone as well.

The biggest problem is that it is not yet known exactly what caused the error. According to one theory, installing the SmartThings Framework update destroys mobile phones, because the new version was released recently, which coincides with the emergence of Bootloops.

To make matters worse, affected users can currently only fix the issue through a factory reset. Since the devices cannot boot properly, this is only possible in recovery mode.
