Many things about the new Apple device have been confirmed by the phone box that has surfaced.
It's been more than two years since Apple launched its last well-priced device, the third-generation iPhone SE. Given the massive success, it was possible to guess that the next iteration of the affordable mobile phone is being prepared – according to the latest information, the iPhone SE 4 could be on store shelves as early as January 2025.
A few days ago, new information about the phone emerged, and to be precise, one of the well-known leakers, Sony Dixon, shared a photo of the case made for the phone.
As with the 2022 model, there's a cutout at the back of the case that houses a camera and flash, suggesting that the new models may have the same setup. The location of the mute switch and volume buttons are also similar, but obviously that doesn't mean the old cases will be compatible with the new SE.
The main reason for this is that the appearance of the 4G phone will mostly resemble the iPhone 14, so it will be much larger than previous models. The iPhone SE 4 is rumored to have a 6.1-inch OLED display, while the third-generation device will be equipped with a 5.45-inch LED panel.
Although the rear camera cutout in the leaked image is the same as that of the iPhone SE 2022 case, significant progress is expected in this area as well. According to rumours, the new model may come with a 48-megapixel camera, while a 12-megapixel selfie camera could be placed on the front.
As we wrote previously, with the fourth-generation iPhone SE, Apple could finally move away from the old home button design and switch to an edge-to-edge display and Face ID, as the leaked case seems to confirm.
