Tales of Kenzera: Project Uso will be the new game from Surgent Studios

Of course, only if you have the necessary support. The new game also comes from the personal experiences and experiences of the studio's founder, and although it will take place in the same world as the first game, it will be of a completely different kind.

It was already known before the first game arrived that the Tales of Kenzera franchise would include several games, even with different stories and gameplay. Surgent Studios may not have prepared for the fact that its debut would be so bad that it had to put its entire development team on hold following layoffs over the summer.

The next game is already planned, and a concept screenshot is also available. Although Tales of Kenzera: Project Uso is set in the same universe as Zau, except for the personal experiences of studio founder Abu Bakr Slim, the two games have nothing in common. While the first game is about losing a parent, Project Uso is about becoming one. How it fits that our main character is a robot who can be inhabited by the spirits of the dead, but this time the passenger is a troublemaking god. Of course, one body, two souls leads to situations where the two people disagree about something, and as a bit of an RPG mechanic, you'll have to “roll” here to see who's right.

It's difficult to say if anything will be made of the game, because without backers, Surgent Studios won't be able to get back into business, and given the failure of the first game, it will likely be more difficult to find investors for the second.
