First Cities: Skyline received new DLC

It's interesting because, in principle, they completed development of the game's content last May, and only provided basic support until the end of 2023. Maybe it has something to do with the second part.

Cities: Skyline was a really gap-filler game when it was released, as it tried to fill the void left by Simcity, but didn't succeed. But all great stories come to an end, so the game received its last major update last May, and Paradox announced that no more downloadable content would be coming to the game, but that it would provide basic support until the end of 2023. Then the second part happened.

Cities: Skyline 2 had such a disastrous launch that the publisher and studio are still working to get it back up to scratch, even delaying the release of paid DLC to focus on core features and functionality. Then it was announced that a pack of three downloadable content (DLC) would be added to the first part, and the Mountain Village pack has already been released.

Paradox noted that no resources were taken from the development of the sequel to create the DLC, as it was created by a community member, Tomas13TO. 45 new assets come with DLC providing a peaceful mountain life, but you can also purchase Map Pack 3 and Alpine Tunes Radio if you want some mountain music. The DLC pack is now available on all platforms.
