What does it take to make a place dog friendly?

From the beginning of Kutyabárát.hu over 12 years ago, to this day, we often get the question: “What does it take to be a dog-friendly accommodation/restaurant/workplace, etc?” Can I be?” Unfortunately, there are still misconceptions in this area, and there are factors that discourage service providers from considering dog suitability or embarking on the dog suitability path.

Since its launch in 2012, Kutyabárát.hu, the first and original portal bringing together dog-friendly service providers and places, has set the goal of opening its doors to as many dog accommodation and catering establishments as possible. In the first months of our launch, we searched for dog-friendly places in the country, so in 2012 we started with just 30 places. www.kutyabarat.hu Thanks to the launch of the portal and then our social media page, more and more recommendations were received and are still being received to this day. Therefore, there are currently hundreds of dog-friendly places and dog service providers on Kutyabárát.hu. However, to date there are misconceptions about “dog suitability” and factors that discourage providers from accepting dog suitability or embarking on the dog suitability path.
