A Hungarian national team player leaves the Bekescapa volleyball team

Fanny Baginka leaves the Swietelsky-Békéscsaba volleyball team, which won the silver medal in the women’s Extraliga championship.

According to Békéscsaba club, the national team player returned from Újpest to his hometown in December 2021. He struggled with injuries in his first season, but in the 2022/2023 season he was expected to be the first striker for the team. “In principle, the parties agreed to continue cooperation, but after the end of the tournament it was decided that they should continue on separate paths,” says the BRSE website.

m4sport.hu knows Nyíregyháza is interested in Bagyinka Fanni, but no decision has been made yet on whether to continue.

Three weeks ago, the Viharsarki team announced that it would replace all its players for the next season: they called Ceyda Aktas from Turkey, Marta Drpa from Serbia, Salla Karhu from Finland, Lia Mosher from America, Viktorija Oljinyik from Ukraine and Ralika Vasiljeva from Bulgaria.

For the first time since 2018, the BRSE team reached the finals in three series: the team won the Central European League, which, in addition to the championship, won a silver medal in the Hungarian Cup, losing to Vazas in both finals.
