Foreign news agencies have begun to speculate about what this mysterious RSD88 flight took off from St Petersburg on Saturday bound for Washington. The same plane flew from Moscow to St. Petersburg on Friday, as it turned out. That’s why it was strange to go to America on Saturday, someone writes Moldova investigation paper.
“hAnd on the Irish front, this flight was immediately called the “unidentified plane” of the company “Russia”. They also claimed that “trying to flee the Russians,” or Moscow’s attempt to contact the Americans, was the response of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The Russian Foreign Ministry provided an explanation on Saturday. IL-96 with flight number RSD88 is heading to Washington to return Russian diplomats who have been declared persona non grata – most likely in the United States, but the Russian Foreign Ministry has not mentioned this. By the way, so far there have been no reports of the presence of Russian diplomats declared persona non grata.
The plane is currently located near Greenland at 3:30 p.m. Saturday on its way to Canada, and is likely to head to the United States and fly in its airspace later, possibly with special permission from US authorities.
