A British Conservative (Conservative) member of Parliament, Peter Bone, repeatedly hit and verbally abused a colleague, frequently asked him for massages, and on one occasion placed his bare genitals next to the man’s face, a report by a British watchdog said.
the Guardian article According to the expert committee, it was found that Bonn, who is one of the most prominent representatives of the British exit campaign from the European Union, harassed and abused his colleague for three months at the end of 2012.
According to a board report released Monday, Boone “verbally belittled, ridiculed, abused and humiliated” the unnamed employee. According to the report, the veteran deputy “hit and threw” the person several times.
The report found that Boone repeatedly hit his co-worker in the back, shoulder and back of the head, and on one occasion said he did so because he thought it would help the person.
Then, during a business trip to Madrid, Boone booked a double room for herself and a co-worker, and complained when the co-worker tried to separate the beds. Boone then invited the person into the bathroom to fix the broken shower, and while the employee was doing so, Boone dropped his towel and placed his genitals directly in front of the employee’s face.
Boone issued a statement after the committee’s report was released, saying: “None of the allegations against me happened. These allegations are false and untrue.”
More recently, other Conservative MPs have also been accused of harassment. For example, former government MP Chris Pincher was suspended for eight weeks after drunkenly catching two men in a closed club last year. Pincher resigned from his representative term.
Dominic Raab has resigned as deputy prime minister and justice minister after an investigation found he abused his power and intimidated his staff.
