The Russian advance continues
In the late afternoon, we wrote based on the German analyst: The advance of Russian forces continues, and they have now achieved new successes in the recently captured town of Avjezhevka. Russian forces broke through the Ukrainian defense lines and entered Lastoskony.
The trend is interesting because there are no important strategic targets in this direction as there are in other parts of the front line, so most people expected a redeployment of Russian forces. Despite this, they continue to advance and it is clear that the Ukrainians cannot resist the attacks at the moment.
The Russians have taken the initiative at several points of the front line, and are attacking with great force in the areas of Kubyansk, Liman, Bahmut, Avgijivka, Marizhinka and Robotin.
Moscow may be trying to take advantage of Ukraine's supply problems, prompting it to save on artillery shells, which represents a major advantage for the Russians.
