A revolutionary update may arrive for the new Samsung device…

AI-powered search may soon add new capabilities, allowing you to capture and share screen details. Find out how you can get innovative.

The latest Telefongurus news is here!

The AI-based search function first appeared on the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Google Pixel 8, and we've been enjoying using it ever since. However, according to the latest news, the feature may soon be expanded with new capabilities.

Based on information from popular tipster @AssembleDebug, published by PiunikaWeb, hints hidden in the research code lead to the conclusion that it may soon be possible to record and share certain parts of the screen.

Currently, you can select part of the screen to search with one touch, draw a circle or scribble, and then refine the selection. After that, we can start searching based on the selected images or text. However, in the future, there may be new buttons to copy the image and share the image that appear when selected. This provides a quick and easy way to record part of your screen, complementing Android's existing screen saving options.

There's no word yet on when this update will roll out to phones – and of course, it's also possible that Google's developers will eventually decide not to add the new features. However, since the source has seen the feature in action – with new blue handles on the side of selections instead of the previous white brackets – the rollout likely won't be long (if it happens at all).

A revolutionary update may arrive for the new Samsung device…

AI for search and other features are gradually rolling out to older Pixel and Galaxy phones after they debut on new flagship models. It's not yet clear what hardware performance will be required to run smoothly, but expect to see more AI tricks on the Google Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 phones over the next 12 months — more and more of which will be running natively on the devices as they run. They become more and more powerful.

With the rapid development of AI technologies, we are facing an exciting time, and we can't wait to experience new features that make our daily lives more efficient and convenient.
