Fiume, or Rijeka as it is also known, needs no introduction to anyone at home, as the settlement on the Adriatic coast is the country's most important port and a popular city among tourists. Novi Vinodolski's coastline is 25 kilometers long and is dotted with sandy and pebble beaches, rocks and hidden coves. The beaches with clear waters invite diving, sailing, fishing as well as swimming. Just 205 meters from the beach is the island of San Marino, where there is the Gothic-era Church of St. Marinos – very popular with lovers.

If we want to get away from the beach, we can reach beautiful lookouts by following hiking and cycling trails. The mild Mediterranean climate is suitable for all year-round activities, whether alone or accompanied by a guide. Some paths lead through a seaside pine forest with fantastic views, while others lead inland through woods, fields, mountain peaks, rocks and hills.
The real specialties are the so-called heavenly or celestial labyrinths, which offer not only silence and contemplation in a green environment for 800 metres, but also an unparalleled view of Novi Vinodolski, Vinodol Canal and Krk Island.

Novi Vinodolski has been a famous wine-growing region since ancient times, and even today you can taste fine wines and sparkling wines.
