An 88-year-old woman in Italy accidentally received a water bill worth more than 15,000 euros (about 5.7 million forints) instead of 55 euros, and after hearing the amount, she fell ill and died on Sunday evening, MTI reported.
Caterina Giovinazzo, 88, had been receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of a hospital in northern Italy for more than a month, when her son-in-law informed her during a visit on Sunday that they had received a water bill worth 15,339 euros.
