Citing informed sources, the newspaper says that the actor is expected to accept the role of 007.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson has previously appeared in HA/VER and Avengers: Age of Ultron, so he's no stranger to the action genre. The 33-year-old actor's name has been bandied about as a Bond candidate for some time, and last week Taylor-Johnson was asked what he had to say about the show.
“I find it wonderful and wonderful that they imagined me in this role. I consider it a great compliment” – Tell.
For the past 15 years, he has played Daniel Craig, the British Secret Service's most famous spy character. He said goodbye to the role of Bond after 2021's No Time To Die. Eon Productions, which makes spy thrillers, is said to begin filming this year.
