- According to David Harbor, it will be animated Weird things an end
- I’ve read several scenarios and loved them all
- But due to the strike, work will not start until later
Even good things come to an end, and that’s the end Weird things, which, on the one hand, has made Netflix one of the biggest streaming providers, and on the other hand, they’ve really expanded this story quite a bit, so it’s not a big deal that it ends with Season 5. Unfortunately, the long-awaited finale won’t hit screens until later, because the cameras couldn’t be turned on in June due to the writers’ strike, and since then the actors have also given up, so at the moment it’s questionable when filming will begin. What is certain, however, is that most of the scripts were already completed (although they could change in the course of work, which is why the start had to be delayed), and David Harbor was fortunate enough to read them and – not surprisingly – it was all in order. Stories on paper.

“They are great as always.” said the actor who plays Jim Hopper on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. “The striking Dover brothers can still outdo themselves.” Harbor later confirmed the creators’ claim that the final season will be the biggest of them all. “It’s also one hell of an undertaking. I mean, the sets and things you see in scripts are bigger than anything we’ve done before.” During the interview, he also clarified things about the timeline, so now it’s certain we’ll be joining in on the events right after the Season 4 finale. “The story will pick up somewhere where last season ended, so as we were standing on the hill looking at the smoke and the ash and the flames.” Of course, the actor didn’t take a vow of silence regarding the finale either, though he couldn’t reveal details. “I know how the story ends. I know where the action is headed, and I can very much say that the finale is going to be very moving. Perhaps that’s the word I can best describe it.” By the way, we tend to believe the statement of the latter, since these characters have grown very close to our hearts over the years and seasons, but hopefully the creators will not only want to sway our emotions, and a meaningful story will emerge in the end.
