After Robert De Niro, Anne Hathaway no longer wants to advertise Switzerland

Roger Federer brings his level up and promotes Switzerland with another star in Hollywood.

Roger FedererHe was appointed last year Switzerland As a tourism ambassador, and to the delight of cooperation, he was immediately photographed with a sign funny commercialWhich is the other starring role? Robert De Niro It was received. we too We wrote about itThat the Alpine country broke with the usual and boring advertising message (“Come visit us, everything is nice and good here”), and instead asked the legendary movie star to scold the Alpine country for a minute and a half. But Nero made a great portrayal, a round candy bar telling Federer he was unwilling to advertise Switzerland with him because he was too quiet and boring, and his personality was matched by the drama and conflict. At the end of the ad, it was suggested that he be asked for the job Tom HanksHe supposedly even invents himself on a boring and uninhabited island.

Switzerland’s new face is also unsatisfied

Next, we looked forward to continuing with Hanks, but to our surprise, the second part of the series, the movie promoting the Grand Tour, doesn’t feature a Forrest Gump star, but American actress Anna Hathaway.

The Hollywood actress and tennis player watch the newly made photo of the Swiss countryside in the cutting room and seem not at all satisfied with what they see. The ad is beautiful, and the sites on it are amazing, but the two stars are totally overwhelmed by the fact that – despite a lot of work on the ad – they haven’t been seen in it for a moment. They seemed puzzled by the director, who gave an amazing explanation: the chemistry between them was so amazing in the recordings that it would have distracted viewers from the majestic Swiss landscape.

As a man, the crew agree that the end result is great, but Federer and Anne Hathaway couldn’t be happier about it. They still wonder what makes sense to record an icy scene or synchronously swim in a glacial mountain lake 22 times.

The two stars couldn’t stand the tension anymore, so they went out for a short break as Federer sincerely regrets dragging Anne into this project. The actress suggests looking for Meryl Streep next time. Federer admits he was really wanted, but didn’t take it. The explicit logo shouldn’t be missing from the end of the slick either: “Ann and Roger have learned through hard work that no one can overwhelm the beauty of the Swiss Grand Tour.”

We liked the number one spot better with Robert De Niro, but this commercial isn’t lacking in creativity either. Next, we look forward to the next part of the series!

The 1,600-kilometre route of the Grand Tour of Switzerland leads to 44 highlights of the country, with access to all four language regions of Switzerland (German, French, Italian and Romansh). It touches 22 lakes, 11 UNESCO World Heritage sites, two reserves, and leads through five lanes. Three wonderful border cities can join the route – Basel, Geneva and Chiasso.
