In the early hours of the morning, the global Internet was almost filled with footage showing Moscow repeatedly carrying out a massive missile attack on the city of Dnipro. The footage also shows several huge columns of smoke, indicating that the Russians launched a successful attack. According to Ukrainian authorities, at least four civilians were killed and 27 wounded. A shopping mall in the city was reportedly shelled. This contradicts the captions on the recordings.
They claim, almost without exception, that one of the most important military-industrial facilities, Gozmast, was destroyed by missiles.
If it is proven that the Russians did indeed destroy the plant, also known as the Southern Machine-Building Plant, it would be a very painful loss for Ukraine. The company is engaged in highly sensitive activities: it produces missiles, spacecraft and other equipment for military purposes.

In the spring, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky repeatedly called on his European allies to send more air defense systems to Kyiv, as they were unable to deal with Russian attacks. Ukraine’s allies have finally promised to deliver more defense equipment to the Eastern European country, but the dramatic bombings continue. It is not known how many of the promised systems have been put into service in Ukraine so far, but the images above prove that there are still plenty of shortcomings.
