In the eighth finals of the Wimbledon tennis tournament on grass, world number one Carlos Alcaraz defeated Matteo Berrettini in four sets.

Alcaraz’s opponent will be Holger Roon, also 20 and ranked sixth: the Danish challenger – like his Spanish rival – recovered from a steady deficit and crushed Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov.
