David Beckham’s alleged mistress Rebecca Loos has responded to the former football star’s comments in a four-part docuseries titled ‘Beckham’.
The Netflix docuseries chronicles the 26-year love story between David and Victoria Beckham. The final episode, “What Makes David Run”, deals with reports in 2004 of David’s reported affair following his move to Real Madrid, where he employed Luce as his personal assistant.
In an interview with daily Mail Published on Saturday, Luce said the way David handled the alleged affair made it seem like “I’m the one who made Victoria suffer.”
“The worst part for me was that he said he didn’t like seeing his wife suffer. That upset me. Because he was the one who caused the suffering. He could have simply said it was a hard time and I didn’t want that.” “To talk about it,” she said of the documentary.
Luce, a Spanish-born Dutch model, continued: “He makes himself the victim and makes me look like a liar. He makes me look like I made up these terrible stories. It’s just that I’m poor.” He has to take responsibility.”
“Yes, the stories were terrible, but they are true,” she claimed. “It took me a long time to decide if I was going to talk about this today… If I stay silent I will be known as a liar, someone who made up stories. I also have a family and I have children too and they also have Google and can also watch documentaries. “And I want them to know that their mother was brave enough to stand up against them and stand up for the truth.”
What does David Beckham say about cheating rumors in Netflix docuseries?
David did not directly mention Loos’ name in the docuseries, but rather alluded to the time following his move to Spain as being “difficult” for Victoria.
“Victoria is everything to me,” he says. “Seeing her get hurt was very difficult, but we are fighters, and at that time we needed to fight for each other. We needed to fight for our family, and what we had was worth fighting for. But in the end, it’s our privacy.” life.”
Victoria Beckham speaks out about David’s betrayalRumors in Netflix doc: ‘We were against each other’
Victoria spoke about the transformation in her relationship, adding: “It was the hardest period for us, because we felt like the world was against us. And that’s the thing, we were against each other, if I’m being completely honest.”
The Spice Girls singer said that until David moved on, “We were connected. We had each other. But when we were in Spain, we didn’t feel like we had each other as well, which is sad.”
Beckham’s manager Fisher Stevens did not directly ask David if he cheated, telling USA TODAY in an interview that it was not a matter of concern. “The inspiring thing and what I was interested in was: Was[their relationship]about to end?” ‘How do you get through that?’ “What is important to you?” Stevens said.
