summary
Neither the Dutch nor the Turkish side had any problems shooting, but Verbruggenk and Jonk had nothing to do for long. Both teams had only a handful of chances until the 35th minute, when the Dutch could not keep it out long enough after a corner kick, and Guler put the ball into the net from close range.
Ronald Koeman was not happy with his team's performance, replacing him in attack at half-time to add momentum to the Dutch game. However, for a long time, Calhanoglu was closer to the second goal. In the end, the Netherlands went through. After a small corner, Depay received the ball again on the right side and rolled it to De Vrij, who headed the ball past Gunnock.
The Turks had barely woken up when the next Dutch strike came. Dumfries's ball from right to centre went wide, but Muldaur and Gakpo reached the left corner of the five at the same time and one of them shot into the left side of the goal. Thus the Netherlands turned the result around in five minutes and climbed into the top four, where Spain, France and England were waiting. Their opponent will be the last on Wednesday.
