AMD has released AMD software version 24.2.1, which provides the appropriate profiles for Skull and Bones, Nightingale, and Helldivers 2.
In terms of bug fixes, the new package addresses the issues mentioned below:
- Fixed stability issues in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Dead Space, Helldrivers 2, Enshrouded, and Counter-Strike 2, as well as Battlefield 2042, Deathloop, Destiny 2, Overwatch 2, Monster Hunter: World, and performance issues in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and Star Wars™ Battlefront 2
- Graphical errors within the covered program will be eliminated
- From now on, the driver will no longer report some games that use the Vulkan API as using DirectX 12
- Oculus Rift S display disappears green on Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs
- The Parsec host application will not crash after a reboot on some Radeon VGA devices
- Camera management in Microsoft Teams will now work correctly on some Ryzen APUs
- In the future, the availability of the Fluid Motion Frames action in configurations with hybrid graphics will be clearly indicated
Driver package version 24.2.1 supports 64-bit Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, and can be installed for Radeon RX 5000, 6000, and 7000 series graphics cards, as well as Radeon mobile devices that use at least the first generation RDNA design, and also supports Ryzen and Athlon APUs with IGP based on RDNA structure. For laptops, AMD offers general product support, that is, the package can be installed on laptops with the appropriate hardware, but is not responsible for unique and specific functions, which still require separate product support from the manufacturer of the specific system.
