Google has announced that its annual Pixel hardware event will be held on August 13. This is a very early date for 2024, since the Made by Google event usually takes place in October.

The Made by Google 2024 event will not be held in New York, but at the company's headquarters in Mountain View, California. The first two such events were held in San Francisco before moving to the East Coast.
This year's keynote begins at 10 a.m. local time, and the invitation is announced a month and a half before the event. Last year, Google announced the event just a month before the event. The invitation is very telling given the spotlight on Google AI, Android, and Pixel devices: “We invite you to attend an in-person Made by Google event where we showcase the best of Google AI, Android software, and the Pixel hardware lineup.”
The event will feature the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, which will be available in two sizes. The 'XL' version is rumored to be the same size as the current Pro version, while Google is finally working on making a smaller flagship phone. A Pixel 9 Pro Fold model is also expected. Additionally, we previously reported on the 41mm and 45mm Pixel Watch 3, which images circulating online confirm could be similar to the first two generations.
