The city’s first fish bistro, Halkakas, opened in 2012 in Veres Pálné utca, from where it moved to Dohány utca in 2017. Their specialty was that their ingredients were only fresh from Hungary, and their dishes were traditional. Hungarian flair Besides, it also featured the innovative font.
