It really looks like Assassin's Creed: Hexe will be the most unique and exciting entry in the series in the past ten years.

24.04.2024 – Although Ubisoft was once a rather brave and experimental company, this type of game production and behavior has declined, especially in recent years. Today we have come to understand that the name of the French publisher is synonymous with the concept of serial and aftermarket games, which can be dealt with more and more with decreasing interest.
In recent months, it seems that Ubisoft's old flame is starting to flicker, but at least there's no other way to explain the brand new genre of Prince of Persia game, Star Wars: Outlaws: Outlaws, and the Riders Republic's own story-driven game. A unique concept for the upcoming Assassin's Creed series, which aims to revamp AC: Hexé a bit – about which little has been known so far. Regarding the latter, although we have not become smarter, as for the eternal precursor, Thanks to Tom Henderson We've learned a few things about Assassin's Creed: Hex, which clearly tells a charming story.
For example, after many years, the series will once again have a female protagonist – that is, an exclusively female protagonist, which means that we will no longer be able to choose between two gendered character archetypes. The main reason for this is that in the 16th century, thank God, it is not a large-scale, plot-oriented story, which, according to Henderson, is not only based on magic, but our hero will also be a wizard with magical powers. , Elsa. Obviously not much is known about the story yet, especially since we're still in the very early stages of development, but according to the information so far, this will be the darkest and most brutal Assassin's Creed game ever, showing the horror of a medieval (European) witch hunt with cruelty. Perfect.
Since AC: Hexe will be much less open world than previous stages, we can also assume that it will be shorter than most new wave RPGs.
Finally, Henderson also revealed that Hexe could be released sometime in 2026 at the earliest – at least that's what the developers are counting. Until then, of course, there will still be a lot of water flowing down the Danube, but if it turns out to be as determined based on the above, this could be the most memorable AC after Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, which Ubisoft has hopefully missed. Long ago, but apparently in heaven – it will also restore the courage he sought on earth.
